SIR M also wants to ride but can't get there that early and I don't think either of you knows the trail well. Perhaps us three could ride down a bit later just after 5pm and kinda meet them on the trail on their way back...

 

That would be awesome. I could do 17:15 - 17:30 depending on traffic.

keep in mind, some riders (Hayley and others) will be coming from Delta Park and Fratellis around 16:00 towards Paulshof via spruit, to meet up with myself and others, then head back to Fratt's.

That and we ripped it to shreds on Saturday. You guys are in for a treat. The trails are in excellent condition. Sticky and hard packed.

 

You can really rail it on a proper bike (26er)

The Hurlingham river crossing was a bit tricky with the water rushing over the stepping stones at above ankle height. In fact the other guys on the trail were not willing to attempt it.

The river crossing was ok yesterday morning, was just covering some of the stones, but was crossable.

Yeah, it was definitely lower on our way back up river on Saturday afternoon.

I was there riding in the rain on saturday (approx 11:30am)... had a look at the river crossing. Wasn't keen for stinky spruit water soaked shoes. But there is another way through hurlingham. I used that one!

Pfffft. I have more than 30 rides over the past 30 days. Legs are feeling like lead weights after the 3 hard and 2 easy rides since Friday.
