Kenda Karma 1.9 29er tyres

Hi Guys

 

I am receiving my new bike tomorrow but it comes with Kenda Karma 1.9 tyres.

 

Anybody with experience on these tyres? Should i keep them on or ditch them. Maybe put one on the back and a Schwalbe Rocket Ron 2.25 on the front?

 

I am not using the bike for XC (lap) racing.

Had them on my 26er, loved it, very grippy.

still think you'll be better off with Racing Ralphs all around.

that 1.9 is very narrow.

Karma is one of the better tyres out there . The 1.9 is narrow but should not really be a issue .

I ride a 2.0 tyre... its rolls very quickly and is great in Sand, mud and hard pack. I do miss the volume on the rocky rocky stuff of the 2.2, but its that much worse. It teaches a little HTFU...

Think i am going to ditch them for Racing Ralphs. Anybody interested in 2 new Karma 1.9's for R400 (for the 2)?

Not keen on a harsh ride. I am buying the 29er for its supposed comfort (i hope)

1.9 is a bit skinny.
