About 30 grams per wheel more using the Competitions ... you can get 3.5 grams of that back by taking the stickers off the wheel... smile.png smile.png

Well that does it - Competitions it is for my 650b Scalpel wheels (also using Crest Rims).

I built a set of 26" wheels for my Prophet AM bike using Competitions and Flow rims, they are really solid. Also it was much easier to true/tension than Revolutions. On my 26" Crest Rims with Revolutions, you can flex the wheels by hand, although I do not really notice the flex when riding.

Let me throw a spanner in the works.

Blunt rims

I concur. I'm currently on a set of Blunt SL. I'm overweight and ride like an unco-ordinated monkey on my rigid SS and they've held up fine. Weight is very good for the price too.
