Anyone done this race?

 

Looks like it could be a nice route but am a bt woried is is a very small race and not too well organised.

I have done it. Bit of a small race but very nice route. Lekker bosveld with almost no cars. Challenging with a couple of hills in the end. Out and back type route.

 

Fairly good organised but it being small, you have have a start with 1 official, a turn around point, 1 guy and then a finish....that is it. Winner gets a bunny and bunch of flowers.

Enjoyable ride.

I agree have also done it.

 

Really nice route. Bunch will probably be small (for 112km route) so you might be in for some time trialing if you get dropped.

 

I'll most lightly be there. still deciding.

Doing Rooiwal on Saturday, riding to and from the race. Better training at about 170 odd kilos for the day. Will have to give Sunday a skip then....

Well you should be okay. The hills only really bite on the way back with 30kms to go as I recall. That's where I got dropped last time ;-)

i have not had much time in the saddle since 94.7 , i have lost abit of my motivation after my 3:00:47 at the 94.7 hahahahah
