Can anyone assist me with the Wifi setup?

I have the new GoPro Black Edition, but I tried syncing it as the manual says and it just does not want to work!!!!

Any who can assist me?

Are you trying to configure the camera with remote, or camera with the GoPro App?

For those of you filming "boring" singletrack... All you have to do is ride following other people. I have awesome footage of myself and my loved ones doing most of the Van Gaalens descents.

Trying to configure it with the remote...done the updates, still not working sad.png

On the camera, go to the spanner/settings icon... press the shutter [top] button once. Keep pressing the power/mode [front] button until you reach the "Wireless Controls" icon. Press the shutter button once to enter that menu. It should say "Off". Press the shutter button once to go to the options, then the power/mode button to scroll to "WiFi RC" and press the shutter button once. Then scroll to "New"... and it'll start searching for a remote.

On the remore, press the the red circle button while turning the remote on with the Mode button. Keep holding the red circle button until the pairing symbol appears on screen. Once connected, it'll ask you if you'd like to pair another camera. Use the mode button to scroll to No, then press the red circle to accept and return to normal usage

+1 for bar mount , I have done it on a chest harness and helmet mount , best view by far is the hb mount!

Likewise - got all 3 and the handle bar mount is the best x far

This is in fact wrong, I went to search the web, found out it does not work as they say hence the reason I could not connect....on the youtube vid it showed step by step how to do it, power on remote, then press mode and it will start searching, I then switchd on the wifi and the camera, choose 'New' and it then paired with the remote...the way they described by holding the red circle then press power did not even work at all...

GoPro Manual FAIL! Search the video on youtube, you will see what I mean 'wifi go-pro help'

I have both a Silver & Black Edition and did it exactly as I typed it... I've never looked at the manual. Surprised to hear it didn't work for you...

But does that mean you have it working now?

Chest strap lets you see how you ride cause it films the handlebars and arms, not just the view down the trail. Handlebar mount is boring to watch.

Looking for a new "view"?

What does the actual mount look like? A whole 11min without showing it :(

Perhaps it is just me, but looking at the rider the whole time is pretty boring (unless you are the rider I suppose) ... show us the track??
