Jy skrik mos vir niks.

ONE HUNDRED AND NINETY KILOMETRES, give or take.

Ooh F€K! I forgot about Signal Hill and the Glen. That 190 went through Bantry Bay via Sea Point back to VA. I scheme its another DC, the mountain goat edition.

@Tubehunter

I'll commit 5 hrs of saddle time to Saturday.

Looking forward to testing my pistons.

Have other commitments from 12:00.

See you hopefully then, man.

Let's see how this unfolds.

Le'me know.

I was doing nothing, still lying on the floor after yesterday so I decided to jump on google maps and work out the distance for the Sufferfest. Well, good thing there are escape routes. Roughly calculated, I could be wrong, out by a few kilometres. Maybe I should'nt say anything.

Use Mapmyride to plot the route and then you'll get the profile, ascent and all of that. It's free.

Ok

According to mapmyride:

http://www.mapmyride.../view/162359802

176 kms-ish with 2700ish ascent.

Hope my blurry eyes did not miss a mile.

Distance and Ascent not accurate lately.

Atleast the distance came down a bit. That ascent does sound hectic though. I would be curious to see the real stats once it's done. Leave the deep sections at home.

I am sure TinyK is smiling at this route and he can't wait till the weekend.

He's not a mountain goat.

Rolls like a roleur.

He'll be out of town, most likely.

I'm in if I end up going solo. May tweak some of the route to get in as much ascent as possible and bring down the mileage to make it more time conscious. Think 150 Kay's should be more than enough distance with all the climbs.

Oraait.

You'll have a training partner for 5 hrs.

Some of that time will be reserved to head back to the car park.

I'll line up a few other riders in my circle who'd wanna get some base & strength training in too.

See who's up for it.
