What route do you guys have planned?

Be careful when heading on Duiker past (close to National Intelligence) as there is an American Pitbull running around (owners gate not closed very often)

Got the same problem on Garsfontein at the Tierpoort plots.

Would it be possible to upload your routes as I am getting back into training and would like to mix my rides up a bit

Got the same problem on Garsfontein at the Tierpoort plots.

Nearly got taken out by two HUGE Boerbulls in the Tierpoort plots area a while ago. The one grabbed onto my shoe and the other one went for my face - I was really, really, really lucky to get away without being chomped to pieces. The owner's gate was not closed. I now ride with a bottle of Pepper Spray just in case. Still ride in the area about 4 to 5 times a week - just keeping clear of that specific road when I'm on my own - which is most of the time. (I've marked the area on Strava as DANGEROUS)

Thanks for that... just joined STRAVA and plan to get out that direction to sometime so will keep eyes open! Cant imagine how scary it is being chased by a boerbul - when mine runs towards me full steam I get a bit panicky as he does not have ABS braking and will knock your feet out from under (all totally unintentionally I might add ) you and then lick you to death. Do NOT want to experience that when they have an intention of getting you for real. Wish dog owners were a more responsible when it comes to gates etc

Will look on Strava for that. My "road" is the 2nd road past the spa, will tag it. Theres a huge dog there that came about 30cm close to chomping me.

On topic, Id love to join, but I do 4am rides as 4pm rides are way too hot for me.

I'm not certain where the start (parking) is. Will follow the discussion for the map of the route to give me an idea.

Looking forward to it.clap.gif

Not sure if a start has been decided yet..........will anybody be heading out via Lynwood road, maybe we can meet up along the way?
