Where abouts is that line with the drops/ stepdowns (approx 2:15) in to the video? looks so fun!

that's the hurlingham line. It has changed a bit since, there re now landings to jumps 1 and 3. But it's still a lot of fun.

Went to go check out the hurlingham line as well as the scout hall jumps this morning.

Thats some next level X -Games **** okes! Would dig to tag along and get some pointers on how to ride / survive stuff like that,i m guessing a combo of prayer, speed and a healthy dose of HTFU whistling.gif

But ja, rad to see there are people riding the spruit who arent just interested in strava segments and how fast they can average. Theres hope for JHB Mtn biking yet!

The Hurlingham line is a good line to learn on. I've taken friends there (that don't ride), i put them on my dh bike, full face, knee guards, and after an hour or two, they're practically doing the whole line.

Although it does have the potential to land you up in hospital with a broken back (ask 2-D about that one), it's easier than it looks.

I'm in, I need to learn how to jump again. I'm not as brave as I used to be in my school bmx days. Don't know if I'll make this coming weekend but def the next one.

We checked out the Hurlingham line this morning and on my Titus it should be pretty straight forward.

Now the Scout Hall line......that's another matter entirely.

Hurlingham still scares me a little. First jump before the road drop is not too big. The rest are...

You know what. Doubles scare the **** out of me. I won't lie.

Was very tempted to try the first camel jump at Scout Hall this morning.

I need just a few more rides on the Morewood to get comfy in the air.

From my perspective, I think the Scout Hall line is more geared towards a jump bike as opposed an AM or DH bike as the rake of the jumps is far higher than that of the Hurlingham line.
