The Hogsback Lord of the Chain Rings MTB is a 3 day stage race with each day’s stage starting and finishing in Hogsback. Riders will endure approximately 200km of varied terrain: forested single track, cattle track, jeep track and varied farm roads as they make their way to the finish line. Our strategy is to provide a challenging, yet achievable stage range, where cyclist’s individual needs are of the utmost priority. Our cyclists need to feel that they have experienced true Eastern Cape Hospitality and a varied riding experience that only the Eastern Cape can offer. Riders will also notice our strong commitment to the communities along the way as well as the high-level of involvement and hospitality from the local community. And to all those "old school" riders who say that medals and trophies are over-rated because they have acumulated so many over the years: The finishers medals and trophies custom and hand made for this event will surely be whipped out and displayed at many family gatherings for show-and-tell! You will have to see them and feel them, to believe them! The Hogsback Lord of the Chain Rings MTB is a 3 day stage race with each day’s stage starting and finishing in Hogsback. Hi - 3 questions

Did your entries have anything to do with the HUB bombing out?

What bike would you suggest best for the 2013 routes, a 26 or 29er?

Is Dr.Fick 'n Evil going to allow us party legs after stage 3 this year?

Hay Feltgood, don't know what happened to our original hub thread, but it disappeared

I think the LotCR is suited for the 29ers, although there are some tight single track sections, with short sharp little inclines where the 26ers will be more suited.....but as a whole.....29ers will be first choice for some.

Cool thanks for the info.

I'm not one to blame my tools as I have never lost a race, I've just been a little behind at the finish!

I found such a cool post from a 2012 rider, I'll post it later if you want me too.
