CWC - Great Style

I know there are many posts about their service, but really want to post what happened this afternoon.

 

I was mailing CWC regarding the tacx trainers. Yesterday I made the decision on the i-vortex that was selling for R 6500-00 and mailed them to ask if its fine if I pre-order on Friday to which the reply was 'no problem'.

 

Logged in today to checkout my shopping basket just to notice that was emptied overnight. When I wanted to fill it up again the price of the I-Vortex went up to around R 8800-00. Decided to immediately drive down to CWC and have a chat with them to see if they can help at all.

 

Spoke with Melanie and she went to speak to Chris jnr. Couple of minutes later she flew out and said there is a person on the phone with Chris that also wants to buy one (at the higher price) and it is the last one. She then told me that Chris said I can have it at R 6500-00 but I must swipe before leaving the shop.

 

First off they could have told me the last one was sold just before I came in and made a extra bit of profit. Secondly they could sold it to me at the higher price, it is their full right to increase the price (obviously the prices are linked to exchange rate).

 

Very ethical and makes me want to spend the extra R 3K there anyway. Did someone say they have workstands for sale?
