Sponsors needed for very talented young rider Waylin Young.

We need sponsors for one of our best young riders to get exposure on the international circuit. Waylin has been spotted by Cycling SA and put on a long list for the upcoming 2016 Olympic games. Carina, (his mother) have already paid a non refundable deposit of R 5 000 and raised R15 000 but still need raise about R20 000 before 31 May for Waylin to be able to go on an upcoming Europe cycling tour. Attached is a recommendation letter from Cycling SA with the banking details.

 

Good Morning As explained on the email at the bottom, and on the attached mail, my 15 year old son, a Fichardtpark High School Scolar, has been invited by SA Cycling to go on a tour to Europe. He is a very dedicated and desciplined rider. He only started cycling in September 2011. In 2012 he already achieved Free State Half Honorary Colours in Cycling. During 2013 he has won several local races. Furthermore in 2013 he also won the Polkadot Jersey (as best hill climber in South Africa) at the National Trac Tour in Nelspruit and he was also 3rd on the General Classification in his age group at the National Trac tour. During the SA's in Oudtshoorn he won a Silver Medal in Time Trial. I would humbly request if you could be a sponsor for him. The tour has been extended with one week, and will be from 19 June 2013 to 6 August 2013, and will be costing R35 000. A If the application receives your favourable considiration, you will have the opportunity for advertisement (in any form) on 1 June 2013 at a cycling event in Bloemfontein. Due to your continued good performance over the last few months, Cycling SA have you on our long list for selection into SA teams in the next few months.We would like to encourage you, if at all possible to go to Europe and race against some of the best young riders in the world during this season.As money is not readily available you will be mainly dependant on sponsors and to this effect we want to give you a letter of recommendation so you can approach sponsors to help you pay your way.Attached you will find a letter with a reference number. You should use this and if successful the sponsors should pay their contribution into Cycling SA's bank account using your reference number.These funds will then be made available to you when you apply for an international racing license.I know this is not money in the bank, but at least it should help you in the process.

Hi, If we can get as many as possible to join the 90 minute challenge this saturday in Bloem it will also assist as the money received there will go to Waylin and another cyclist from Bloem who was also asked to come on the tour. I think entries at R80, so even if you do not ride just enter and donate the R80-00.
