Also it's nice to try them on for size - some fit better than others. Import duty on a helmet should be nothing - safety equipment - just VAT and courier charges.Unfortunately, SARS see them as clothing.

Think thats pretty standard for any purchase though. They need to know if it falls within the 3 year period for the crash warranty.
