Thanks Steven. Just seems like 650b is the way to go.

Dude - you just bought that thing ... dont be swayed by fads and forums etc.

Ride your bike and have fun doing it ...

I changed to 650b and to be honest i cant feel a massive difference in the wheels. The geometry of the bike yes ... but the wheels ... NAH .. I still suck uphills. ... And I would attribute the more speed down to the geometry and suspension rather than the wheels.

Also remember that if you change to 650B wheels you are effectively altering the wheelbase and bb height of the bike .. which may impact negatively on the ride as the ride was designed around a 26 inch wheel size.

If you want to feel what it feels like to be on a 650b - go grab a set of 2.5 or 2.7 tyres and put those on your bike - we were looking at the DH bikes vs the wifes 650b Juliana on the weekend - and our 26inch 2.5 Minions made the wheels the same diameter (almost) as her 650b 2.2 X-kings ..

But for your bike - Id say dont bother - Its your first year doing Enduro ... so just have fun on your bike rather than trying to mod it to death.

Some good advice right there, but wheelbase doesn't change when putting bigger / smaller wheels on a bike.

Will I be able to convert my frenchie into a 650b?

Lekker bike!

Rather buy a dropper than worry about 650B wheels.

Slam some 2.3 /2.4 tyres on there & go & get a grin on your face!

Thanks Nigel! Super helpful as always!

I'm super happy with the bike, loving everything about it. Just read some dude changed, and the noob that I am,  thought quick change.

As DB just said - get a  dropper post for that thing - and if you are riding anything narrower than 750mm bars, turf them in the bin and get yourself a set of 750mm wide bars with a short  50 or 60mm stem
