I reckon I'm gonna be on this program with my trail bike soon. You should bring that sucker to France next year. Give her a workout in her natural habitat.

But cassette will become 11-41 as opposed to 11-36 that it is now. Would love to come to France next year but will have to pull some serious negotiations with the Mrs.

Just cowboy up and tell her. when the screaming subsides she'll come around. You only get one lap of the track. May as well make it a fun one. You'll actually be surprised. Most women want their men to be happy. And the ones that don't should be ejected immediately.

The xc okes that bitch about brake fade are either 140kg + or they don't know how to brake. I rode Elixir 5's in the Alps where you have 5km proper steep downhills and they were fine. if you modulate your braking they won't overheat and fade.
