PS they were in the right as this trail is actually an up - but we will be closing it off for the event and the weekend before for practice to run it as a "down" trail.

Entered last week, bought a fat tyre for the front and did a test run down stage 2 & 3. Trails are in pristine condition! Need to work on fitness levels though, was buggered after climbing up nicks climb and pedaling hard through the other sections. Gonna try the new enduro trail this weekend. Looks like a sweet piece of single track

Hi Tommy - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ... do NOT ride stage 3 until we have officially opened it for practice the weekend before the event.... as it is an UP trail we really dont want to have any incidents before the event ... I have put the videos up early so that the riders can watch the videos and become familiar with the trail without actually riding them.

 

Please feel free to ride Stages 1 (Gravity Dice/Bizhub) - Stage 2 (Mainline Jethros etc) and Stage 4 (Shaya Moya) stukkend! ... the only one that we cant ride yet is Stage 3 ...

 

If guys ride this stage and cause an accident it will likely jepardize not only the event but also the Park!.

 

As it is a race, the Park has the legal right to change the orientation of a trail for a set period - however once this is over the trail returns to the original orientation. So please ... choon your mates too to please respect this.

 

PLEASE Note that I am not K@King on you ... But just bringing up a point that has been raised by Gibas Management

Ah, sorry I meant stage 1! I never ride the trails in reverse, you can even check my strava. Been a member for a couple years so know the rules

An event like this should sell out! I am just hoping it doesnt sell out soon as I am holding back on entering until I know if I can make it down for that weekend...
