the Sky tactic of not chasing but grinding down attacks reminds strongly of time trialling tactics. Operate at one hair's width below the threshold. Dont go into debt and watch the others burn. Play the game where you are at your strongest

 

I like Froome and not so much Berto, but I sure hope the latter is pulling Sky a fast one. Let them fly high on confidence and see how they react the very first time they get put under pressure. Right now we all know what Sky's gonna do but Sky don't know what the others will do.

 

Or Sky think they know what the others are capable of, but let's see.
