Road bike: Merida or Silverback?

I am looking at buying my 1st road bike and part of my research is to compare certain bikes.

 

What would you suggest is the better value for money road bike between:

 

Merida or Silverback?

 

Budget: Between R18K - R25K

I am very happy with my Merida EVO Scultura 905. With New Ultegra and paid R12000 for it. After 2 years still going strong, with racing wheels it weighs under 8kg.

I am actually referring to a road bike. I currently have a 2012 full carbon MTB which I am looking to sell to make space for the road bike.

Silverback make great value for money roadbikes - look at one of the space models. very capable race bikes.
