I reckon we should look for Contador to make a miraculous recovery on the TT front and to up his climbing game as well.

 

I reckon you are right on the money here.

 

Look to Contador to perform well in the TTs, eliciting comments from Paul and Phil such as:

 

" He is dancing on the pedals, turning himself inside out, having reached into his suitcase of courage. He is truly assasinating the opposition. Is there no end to the man?"

 

Jokes aside, Froome should do it this year. Spanish Armada or not, the Skyborgs should have the task in hand.

I just hope the racing is more interesting, impulsive, emotional - more exciting

I wouldn't rush to sneer at Wiggo. Give him a little sympathy. He's a very, very good rider; sure he had a dream team and somewhat depleted opposition but not too many, if any, on the Hub can sneer from any height above him.

 

The only benefit I see is that it opens the way for Froome but it won't be easy for the African Pom.
