Sorry to hear Mads. Read other post now. I hope the sucker not reading, but do you think these guys will know if u get a new bike? I reckon insert tracker, we could maybe catch the ..ckers once and for all !

There is no way that I can even load the bike in my car and go and start my ride from somewhere else without anyone standing outside my house not knowing.

Are you insured , house hold insurance will cover good stolen with forced entry even if not specified in most cases.

Yes I am. Outsurance. Which means - if the facts I got here of the hub is correct. I am stuffed.

 

If ..... and I say If it gets approved. As the claim advisor stated this morning. They still decides whether the claim will be approved. It will be at the suppliers of their choice. At the moment it is Unions cycles in Brackenfell. I have not even heard their name mentioned on the hub on anywhere else once. They also do not cover the HR monitor and the brand new spd pedals that I put on a week ago. So yes hopefully. But only time will tell.

Ha ha Skistar. It is actually a very old bike . I think it can be as far back as 2006. But it still did the job. To replace it unfortunately will cost a lot more that what I paid for it. Thank You I will appreciate it.

Sorry to hear about the loss. Union cycles was huge about 10-12 years ago, if i remember correctly they had a 2/3 branches around Cape Town back then & had road cycling team.
