Exactly what I got. Looked and Thule and ended up with the Menabo Winny 3 bike. Great quality at a great price. About R2000 cheaper than the equivalent Thule.

Ian went out of this way to help me with a sticky clamp on the rack. Replaced the clamp and helped to fit the rack and to set it up.

I am having a look at getting a Menabo platform carrier for 3 bikes, there are 3 choices with varying prices.

 

1.Race 3 Project (tilt) - R2900

2. Project Tilting 3 - R2680

3. Winny 3 - R4200

 

I cannot really see where the price difference is in the product itself, what made you choose the Winny 3?

It came recommended by a friend who uses one and I like the construction of the product more than that of the Race and the Project. The Race and Project also seemed more geared for lighter bikes like roadbikes.
