Anyone on hub keen for a ride at Van Gaalens on Sunday morning? thinking of doing a 3h ride, revenge, greek church and other little bits and pieces.

I think I'll give the VG to Breedts a skip, am wanting to work on my technical riding a bit, have lots of district road to train distance around OP.

was thinking of getting there at 7:30 for a 8am start, you keen?

Was that fog not incredible? Drove past VG around 07h30 and could barely see it. Saw 2 souls on their bikes heading toward the Historic Barn - jeesh it looked cold!

I didn't end up going to VG in the end, went to Groenkloof and managed to do a whole 15min riding before I made a nice little hole in my tire and then a snake bite in the spare tube, must have been karma for not going to VG

Anybody planning on riding van Gaalens this weekend? I will be in the area Sat and Sun but from what I read I should preferably join someone that knows the tracks....

 

Looking for a 3 hr ride the Saturday (will try and memorize it for Sunday! )
