We don't wanna do that slush section :-) Are you not mixing this race up with Serengeti MTB challenge which had huge muddy section and a river crossing in the reeds that seemed to be endless, because the only slush or muddy section I remember on dunblane was the small river crossing in the last 1km, where people were more concerned about the toads and frogs than the were on the mud

I've done a few races in the area (Dunblane, Bulldogs) and sometimes the slush pit forms part of the race and sometimes not.
