Racetec, Championchip, SAS, Winning Time ....its getting ridiculous!!

I managed to use my Racetech chip in KZN at the Karkloof - they just reprogrammed it somehow, ony took a minute.

The part you put on your bike is an RFID tag, it cant be programmed.

What they can do though is read it and specify it as your tag number for the event.

Strange thing I did note on raceteck website that I have two timing chips registered on my name but I only have the one. Must have been the ROAG guys in KZN

Just remember to have it re-programmed back to Racetec before your next race.  When they did that at Karkloof, it would have wiped off the previous data.

There is nothing to programme or re-programme.

These are passive units. They just add it to their database and link to your details

My times over all races are still in tact. Racetech don't time the Karkloof but the local timing company used my chip data to capture my time. Go figure
