Upgrade components or buy new bike?

Dont thing you will notice much difference with the latest expensive / frame - but if you upgrade the groupset it will feel like a new bike - and you can't go wrong with SRAM Force :)

Couldnt agree more.

Also something to consider, Upgrade to 105 or alike and spend some money on good, light wheels, if you dont have already. Wheels alone would make the biggest difference.

Something like Easton EA 70 or 90's.

So just a little update, I went to view the Pinarello and bought it immediately. The owner seemed desperate and I made him a stupid offer of 5k and he took it. The bike is pristine condition. I'm gonna ride this a bit and then in January after I get my bonus, I'm gonna upgrade my components. This way I'm still gonna spend about 10k but at least I'm getting a much lighter and newer frame as well.

I'm definitely keeping the Dale though. Probably use it as an indoor trainer or something. I refuse to sell it for something stupid like R 1500.

Thanks for the help guys. Much appreciated.

Here's a pic of the bike.

Looks nice. Take out all of the spacers above the headset.

Would it make any difference?

The guy I bought it from upgraded the handlebars. It's not the standard one present.
