26" Scalpel to 650b

Hello fellow hubbers,

 

Is it possible to convert my scalpel 26" (medium) to a 650b?

Would there be enough clearance at the back wheel?

 

Any and all help would be appreciated. Anyone done this before?

Bit of a stupid question really: is there a advantage to converting to 650b from 26"? ie is hte hassle and money worth the effort?
