Anyone know what the nipple size is with Hope hoops , I have the stans ztr flow set with DT Swiss spokes and brass nipples.

Appears to be the SW-0 sized for 0.127" (3.23mm) nipples

But there is such a small size difference between the range of spoke keys I'm not 100% sure

I want to get the correct Park Tool spoke key and I want the one that fits.... no more rounding off of spokes for me..

Here's the full range of parktool spoke keys:

If anyone has a better locally available spoke key option let me know, the Parktool ones are apparently highly recommended as they are 4-sided, ie engage the nipple with more faces and less chance of slipping

I measured a spare spoke nipple that came with the wheels - 3.2mm

So I'm assuming the SW-0 sized for 0.127" (3.23mm) nipples is the correct spokekey?

The SW-1 sized for .130” (3.30mm) nipples may be easier to use though if the nipple is slightly rounded or out of shape it will be hard to get the SW-0 easily on when truing.

Or must I strictly use the SW-0 and rather take my time?

How do you work with rounded nipples , obviously use the right size good quality spokekey in the first place but once its rounded but still useable do you go one spoke key size up?

So should I get the 3.23mm or 3.30mm spokekey for a 3.20mm nipple?

3.23mm might be a rather tight fit, although that is what I want..

Cut the spoke and fit a new nipple and spoke. Take the wheel to your LBS and make sure the spoke spanner fits properly. Nothing wrong to buy the whole range...... it is BLING!!!!!!
