Around R600 or so. DHL brought a frame up to JHB for me from Cape Town for that price.

It was packaged by the sender for me.

Sheppie is down the road .. easier to drive down and fetch it ?

You getting it from Bobby's ?

That's the right answer and if needed you can check the bike before paying.

TimeFreight charge about R600-R800 per assembled bike(handlebar turned parallel to frame) as far as I remember

Time freight!!!

R300 for a parcel (bit smaller than bike, though...) from Bloem to stellenbosch.... no mess - no fuss.

I'll use them again!

You guys paying R300 to courier a full assembled road or mtb bike with Timefreight?

Are they charging you volumetric or just weight?

I'm assuming the handlebars and pedals must be taken off though?

One thing I do know is they don't offer any kind of insurance.

I used Time Freight as well.

Sent a frame from PMB to JHB for R300 about 3years ago. I'm sure it's gone up a bit by now. It's a volumetric cost basis more so than a mass base for a bike.
