Hi there! Can anyone recommend a good frame builder which can repair a crash-damaged Cannondale CX frame. Top-tube kinked after a off-road full-frontal crash. Might not be economically viable and end up as a different kind of frame after the repair but it's got big sentimental value to me. Really appreciate any suggestions!

Post a pic, Alu is normally not feasible, due to major heat treatment requirements.

Howzit. I can imagine that it will be tricky but willing to take a risk...

Sorry but I concur with DJR - the tube is kinked / bent, would you have to replace a section if not the whole top tube, not impossible but going to cost a lot, and you would have to find someone with a knowledge of all the metallurgy involved.

I don't think that is repairable. Hang the frame in a place of honour on the wall in your study.

Thanks, that's where it is for now. But if you or anyone else has any glimmer of hope what I could do with it, I'd be grateful
