Pronutro is also gluten free! And feels way more "wholesome" that Futurelife in my opinion.

The problem may not be gluten, but rather wheat per se... hence the suggestion to cut all wheat to self-experiment. If it works, you can try adding gluten free products back.

Just as a complete aside, Pronutro is probaby the worst breakfast you can eat from a blood glucose perspective. According to the South Africa Glycemic Index & Load Guide, Pronutro (Classic) has a GI of 78 and Chocolate Pronutro 90 !!! (Neat glucose is 100 just for reference). Just saying.... :whistling:

edit : Futurelife GI = 50

. Some Pro Nutro has "wheat free" on package .

Others contain wheat.

Wheat free does not automatically translate into gluten free.

Update: For the last few weeks I've actively avoided gluten/wheat products....

The situation seems much more managable now, I can ride for miles on end with maybe just 1 episode as opposed to every couple of minutes. Its progresively getting better even had a few rides with no slime what so ever.

So thanks for the advice!

It sounds like post nasal drip which i suffer from as well. Every year i would suffer from URTI, flu', tonsilitis etc so this year i decided to go for a cortesone injection. It worked well for me, i haven't been ill ever since i got the injection which the doc said should last me about 1,5 months. 4 months later it still seems to be working although later in the afternoon the post nasal drip seems to return for about 2 or 3 hours. Believe me when i say ive tried evrything including vitamins, sinus tabs, immune boosters like echinacia etc etc and this seems to be the only thing that has finally helped me. Good luck, i know just how irittating and inconvenient having this ailment can be!
