Stretch Posted August 28, 2013 Author Posted August 28, 2013 Hi kosmonooit Karkloof has numerous well marked trails. If you are not familiar with the trails I suggest you to stick to one (or all of) the marked loops. 10km, 20km and 30km options. All start from the Karkloof Country club. If there's enough guys, as Stretch has said, I'm happy to take a 35 - 40km ride on Sunday morning. It won't be on one of the dedicated loops. Will be a mix of some the best trails Karkloof has to offer (including some of the best climbs to get to these trails ). two words.....mine shaft Dirty Sanchez 1
Tumbleweed Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 yea: what are the options there? Looking at exploring Karkloof Friday pm as well. Check with Bardie or dassie. The Tread guys have been doing "Trail Tamers" this week at 2pm (I think?).

Ryanpmb Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Woken up in PMB this morning to a misty morning. First one in some time as we've been having some hot weather of late. May be the cooler weather arriving and I believe it's bringing a little rain. This may do a VERY dusty course some good, hardening things up and making it a little tacky... or not, it could become a mud bath... Going to be an interesting weekend of racing.

Dirtbreath Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Are tickets for Sunday freely available at the gate if we haven't pre-booked online?
Grebel Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 (edited) Are tickets for Sunday freely available at the gate if we haven't pre-booked online? Tickets are available from the ROAG website. Very simple process and you save R20. (R90 online vs R110 at the gate) I am going the online route. Print your proof of purchase and take it with. No mess no fuss. Edit: looks like online ticket sales are closed..... Edited August 30, 2013 by Grebel
