The Bell Gage or Rudy Project Windmax, i don't really have the time at the moment to go all OCD and research the hell out of it, and they are very similar in price. flyguysa Posted August 8, 2013 Share I have both. For my head shape, I feel the Bell fits slightly better. Both have great ventilation and weight-wise are a couple of grams within eachother. It's a tough choice....... My opinion is try each of them on before you buy and see which one fits your head best and of course, which looks the best.. Cippo Posted August 8, 2013 Share I find the rim on Windmax a bit wider than other helmets, personal opinion. The Rudy's have the netting inside which keeps bugs out. Take your sunglasses with and see if they fit in the helmet as well. Have you tried a Kask Mojito? Most comfortable helmet I have worn to date with good ventilation.
