so the krysuims are out e 40kg over weight.

i have contacted the seller Vickus is his name, awesome guy and owns a cycle shop up in George . although he cant do much about the price he has offered to ship them free of charge. he will also include the Gator Skin tyres which he assures me are in very good nic.

 

we have R300 so far. we need another R1700.

this is an important issue, you need to really research the manufacturers websites, or ask them specific questions to find out what the max weight specification on a wheel is. Otherwise, it may go out of true, it may rub on the chain stays if loaded in a sprint, or the rim may fail completely.

I'm gonna bump this up and give this another try. We have done some research and the cheapest solution is the tandem wheel that are for sale.

 

Although I haven't explored the option of going through a wheel builder as I am for seeing a very expensive venture.
