New to DJ CT

Hey there. So keen to get into dirt jumping since they building a track literally outside my front door ( CT city bowl ). Have been looking to get a bike anyway since im so close to work - so what should I look for that I can mess around with on jumps and also use to commute? (Its about 2kms to work. Downhill all the way uphill back) Any advice appreciated. Shot

Depends on your budget, but there are some sweet custom builds on theHub and gumtree. The normal cheapies (GT and mongoose) wil do... but what you really want is one of these;)

that park alongside kloofnek road just after the speed trap if you going up.

I have a Devinci Kicker.

 

Bought it in UK for that exact purpose. Commute and Jump also did lots of northshore.

 

Its just collecting dust now.

 

Think I should sell it. will pm you.
