15QR Axle Lever Cam Tension Adjustment question

My fork has a through axle setup. If I hold the front brake and 'rock' the bike back and forth you can feel some movement in the axle front to back (if this makes sense, there is no sideways movement and its not my headset).

Can this bit of play be taken up somehow or do I just loosen and retighten the bolt?

Or am I feeling some play in the brakes?

check the disc, i had a center lock that had a bit of wear on it and i had exactly the same feel. my only option was to replace the hub i am afraid but if you have 6 bolt you may just need to tighten the disc up a bit. if its center lock make sure the spindles things haven't worm and tighten up if possible. should solve your issue.

It actually looks as though the brake pads may have a little bit of a gap in the caliper housing and this is allowing the movement.

Is this normal? They are BRM775's.

Fiddled around a bit this morning and luckily the tool for the external BB fits the ring that holds the rotor onto the hub, this was slightly loose and after tightening all is well again!

Ja, luckily the bike is new but I was thinking....no riding my new bike this weekend...

Would have been an unhappy camper! I already have my riding planned out!
