or the magalies monster. But that's way west of harties. There's the redstone area, here's a segment of the race, but there's a lekker route into broederstroom, hook a right at the 4-way just before ale house and climb up along the krokodil river to come back down by the wimpy.

Can that route be ridden any time or is it on private land?

The 2nd one is always open. The first one is part of the Redstone series, I've ridden sections of it, but there's 1 or 2 gates that get locked. (you can get through a hole in the fence and get a mate to pass your bike over though   :whistling: ).

Park @ home of the chicken pie. There's some pretty sweet single track along the R512 to Nikita, and then a dirt road into Broederstroom. My next mission is to climb that big hill by the swiss restuarant and pop out at the bottom of the start of concrete strips @ vg

How safe is it to ride out from Home of the Chicken pie?

The entire single trail up to Nikita is pretty close to the road. I haven't heard of any issues and I see guys riding the trail most weekends.

Anyone got the route as a GPS track?

Also there is a track in Harties at the back of the school that goes over the mountain, if anyone can help with that details pls.

Dont know how to put a GPS file on here but here is a ride we did. Awesome Single track from Home of chicken pie to nikita motel. Its about 10 to 15m of the side of the road. part of the Route 66 MTB.

You can check it out on my strava profile Jacques Meyer.

65km, 1100m climbing. 70% single track, 10% district road, 20% next to the Tar road.

If you get the trail from the school up the mountain, don't bother. Very angry farmer lives on route will find you! Have seen lots of guys with huge punctures.
