Sorry, for the hijack... but due to the positive Momsen feedback, I would like to ask something else.

Looking at dualie framesets - and two of the options I am wondering about is Momsen DL9 vs Giant Anthem X. Love the look of the Momsen, but the Giant does come highly advised, esp ito their suspension. Some intersting small diffs in geo between the two as well. FWIW - another slightly more expensive possibility is SC Superlight, but know very little to nothing about that bike specifically.

Any opinions?

Thanks for your comments!

I will also look at the Scott 910 2013 model for R26000 is it a good price it comes with full XT groupset and is carbon.

Welding on gussets and joints, tube walls on the inside, carbon joints and lay up, tolerances anywhere something gets pushed in or bolted on, alignment of rear tri-angles on dual suspension frames and general high level of QC of frames that reach shop floor.

Haha, you should know when asking Crow for a clarification that you're going to get a *proper* one

BTW, I have a Scale 940 and love it. Light, responsive, well specced - except for the fork. Fox's Evolution level stuff is just not all that great. Stiction and damping finickiness are the operative words.

Out of these 3, I'd go for the Momsem.

yes, happy to receive an explanation like that and be taught. not the usual "because I said so".
