Womens elite racing looks a lot less organised vs the boys. That just a funtion of less sponsor money = less professional?

 

The teams have splintered quite a bit.

I reckon the teams are trying to regroup.

Ashleigh near the front on the longest climb if the course.

A good sign.

 

How many laps left?

I think it's 16 kms a lap or something.

Prob 4 laps left.

Ashleigh is climbing very comfortably. Reckon she should try to get away on lclimbs in last loop to avoid getting crushed by orange army

 

It is 3 kms to the finish after the last climb I think.

Not an easy run-in for a climber type that hopes to surge away.

Think it is the best plan. Dutch thunder thighs team seem to be faster on descent and flats. Plus have a couple of riders they can burn off for Vos
