Braided hose local source?

Too bad my shipment from CRC got stuck in a perpetual loop at DHL and Customs....

 

Anyone know a local source for stainless steel braided brake hose?

For Hope brakes, OD is 6mm, ID might be 1.6mm (?)

 

I have the fittings just looking for cable stock.

try hyflo.......i see they have a jhb branch

 

they stock braided hose made by kinetic and HEL....including all the fittings if needed

 

i bought a few meters of the stuff when i had brake lines made up for my car....youll get it in a range of colours on the outer covering as well

International Trade should have the Hope braided hose.

If that falls check with the guys at international trade, they are the hope agents so they may have the hose for you.

Thanks - Hyflo seems industrial hosing, will give Intl Trade a call in the am , don't think that kit is a Hope product though.

Hope has their own version as far as I know

besides the industrial hose.....hyflo stocks that braided hose specifically for high performane applications like custom kits for cars

 

i think mine is 6mm diameter hose.....teflon inner, stainless overbraid......and a silicon sheath over that......i can crawl under the car and measure it if u want

he he sounds about right LRW no need to go grease monkey 2nite - I was going by what was on their web site catalogue, but will also get in touch with the, surely its standard stock although the UK BIke Store says its made in the UK.

Had a sample taken to Hyflo, no go, but called Int. Trading, they have stock of the kit for something like R500_, so ordered via my one and only fav LBS Johnson Cycles.
