McCaul's taken a fairly low profile so far at this event, but he's been quietly getting on with it, taking things up a notch all over again.

After having cased the landing massively two times in a row...

The severity of crash one took your breath away just long enough to witness the brutality of crash two. Gully first cased and dug his head and neck into the ground in what was a truly grotesque impact, but still walked back up for another go. Now he has a whole lot of additional courage to find tomorrow...

T-Mac sent it later and it looked pretty righteous. He looked comfortable both times he tested her... could it be tricked?

Kyle Strait decided enough was enough and it needed to get done the day before finals. He sent it hard and managed to just make it past the knuckle. He then bounced almost all the way to the bottom of the landing, before regaining control and careering to a halt.

Zink sends it. Simple fact, if Strait hadn't sent the Oakley sender today; neither would have Zink. Takes two to tango. With an added lip on the side, Zink plans to go full out tomorrow and flip the sender. Just as the sun goes down and the moon rises, Zink sends it rocking out to Black Sabbath on the loud speakers.

Brendog had no problems clearing his canyon gap. That's saying a lot, because last year he spent all his build time working on it, only to not ride it. Guess he worked out the kinks, and got a whole bigger set of balls.

Brendan's line comes down through terrain pretty untouched by any other rider before heading towards his chasm gap. He made it totally clean on his second run.

Mitch Chubey successfully sending it over the Gee gap. Pretty impressive, considering how badly Gee crashed off it last year. Even more impressive, after seeing Mark Mathews destroy his femur only a day before while attempting it, and even more impressive still considering he broke his pinky and his bike, after crashing off it his first run.
