Of dit waar is weet ek nie, maar ek sal nogals ongelukkig voel as iemand 10min voor my klaar maak net omdat hy nie op die oorspronklike roete gebly het nie. Daar is definitief baie sand en as dit jou eerste keer is, sal jy sien waar die manne met kennis ry! Les wat ek maar moes leer op my eerste L2L. Die "shortcut" maak nie dat jy 10km of iets korter ry nie, dit detour jou maar net eintlik so kort stukkie sand. Daai laaste 20km op die sand teen die see se ry is AWESOME! Skubarra Posted February 3, 2014 Share Sounds more painful than riding in Franschhoek? I am undecided....sand is not my idea of an enjoyable ride. When I did the race 2 years ago, it was low tide and the sand was compacted & hard + we had the wind at our backs. So riding on the beach was a unique & fun experience. But now with a bit of hindsight I guess the experience would depend on the tide & conditions of the day, not sure how it was the other years?
