Very impressive looking bike! Echo gwhite's comment above. Was there a stage between paint stripper and raw frame?? i.e. Did the stripper remove all the paint or was there some sanding involved too???

The paint stripper removes all of the paint but it leaves the aluminium pretty "dull" and rough so you need to sand paper the frame. I used those sanding blocks you buy at Builders Warehouse for like R15-00 each, used the fine one and then finished off with some finer water paper. Only once I was happy that everything was nice and smooth did I start polishing the frame, it's time consuming and dirty work but the end result is worth it.
