TMNP are already allowing the construction of B-lines.. Snake Eyes has a whole trail of equal length set for this purpose.

Like I said, let's see what they say on Friday.

I went to check out the new bit of trail and it is super, both up and down. Not easy going up, takes good power and timing and a decent bit of bike control. Down wasn't too difficult at all. A beginner might want to walk 20metres of it, but not the whole thing. I commend SANParks for what they did there!

Those UCT people have now built their jumps SO HUGE that I can't do it anymore. My bike, my balls and my skills are just not up to it! I think we should get the university to make the jumps smaller so everyone can do them.

Just below the M3 at the UCT offramp going towards muizenberg. Go past the windmill, under the bridge and then it's on the left in a little bowl. Really neat jumps. And yes, there is a B-line.
