I'm sure this was covered, but why was this stage event stopped. it was 4 stages leading up to the Argus Cycle Tour.

 

any chance of it coming back?

They lost sponsorship.

 

Also the Tour of Eden.....every racers loved it but was also lost to cycling due to $$$.

 

Then came "Tour of South Africa"

It is a pity, because it did attract internation pros to the country if I look who raced in those races before.
