Not very technical. Mostly Jeep track, some loose rocks. Climbs aren't hectic, everything is rideable.

Ha,ha,ha......what fun we had that day. I have video footage of that race with the final stretch through the thick mud and the "small" stream that turned out to be a river. Saw my friend taking a quick unplanned dip in one of those puddles with his Scott Spark. What a laugh.

 

Going to enjoy the scenery this year with a rustige trap. Will post some pics after race.

 

Edit: started the race last year with a super white shirt.....but ended with a beige coloured shirt. Use it now for night rides.

Hoe tegnies is die race

This event will keep you pedalling for 4 to 5 hours .Start and finish is flattish but the rest can be pretty challenging .Enjoyable route !

What a great camping weekend and race vibe, on route some seriaaas steep rocky sections, lekker (long) day in the saddle, helped some fellow MTB'ers.....and just relaxed with a cold one afterwards.

 

.....this is were my bike has taken me this weekend.

Hey that's me in the red shirt Was a lekker weekend, really enjoyed chilling. We only left after 5 yesterday afternoon, was second last people left in camp.

Ill definitely be back it was an awesome race I have to say the rocky climbs on the 65km were really though. But even a little rain in the area made some fun in the mud!
