I usually get mild sinusitis during the changing of seasons, however the moment I climb on my bike(irrespective of season) and slightly exert myself(usually 20 min into a ride) my nose opens like a leaking tap and I spend the rest of the ride with my hand in the back pocket reaching for the handkerchief.

Do I have an intollerence to something in my diet, have cut out meat, drastically reduced my gluten and dairy intake to no avail. Any advice would be appreciated.

I get that to, though may not be as severe as your experience but I need to wipe my nose every while or so after riding as you say for about 20mins . I think it's more the rush of air up your nose that makes it water, it's generally worse the colder the air is.

I have the same problem, even at some stage considered plugging it. but that tends to make you pass out as you don’t get enough air. I do know that the faster you go, the less water comes out.

Sorry I cannot help...

Could also be a reflex due to the drying effect that the air has on your airways...

I get it too, any temperature, but worse if it's very cold. I have regarded it as an age thing! But would like to know how to minimise if poss.

It could be a common issue as riding gloves always have a towelling part, for wiping said noses!
