Qe? I R confused...why should it be GMT time?

Cause all the external sites uses gmt time and then convert it to your local time zone, so for example if i ride at 6am local time ... the external site where i imported the file displays my ride as 8am.

Dunno what the problem is but have seen a few people complaining about similar stuff before on the polar V800 forum  http://forum.polar.fi/forumdisplay.php?f=122  follow the link and scroll down to reach the forum and then go through the various topics.

But first try a soft (4 button) reset? I guess that's what they would call a reboot...

1.Press and hold down all 4 corner buttons at the same time.

2. Keep them down until you see the polar logo displayed (+/- 10 seconds)

3. Reset is then complete

4. This reset usually changes 2 functions on your watch, the time display goes back to the default display (hrs:minutes) and the button sound is reactivated, you will have to change them again in the general settings screen.

Thank SwissVan followed your instruction and synced to flow and all's working correct again.

I have the M400. Great watch. Works great for my MTB rides. Can Customize your menu so that is works awesome. V800 to much Moola, but also have stuff I wont use, so M400 is perfect pic for me.

Yeah I bought one for my SOH for xmas and was trying it on the other day :whistling:

I really liked it, feels more comfortable and has a slightly better display imo.

Hopefully the V800 will evolve into the same form and shape...for those of us who already have a V800 have no fear, at polars current rate of progress this will take a few years at least.

Social media and other media going to be soon available via BT on Polar V800 and other similar products

I hope the FF (Finnish Fiends)  fix the swimming metrics PROPERLY first and concentrate on improving the flow web software before trying to turn it into a smart watch

I agree!!

They seem to be having their knickers in a twist about all the wrong things!!

You still cannot export multisport excercises and the issue with the duplicate files created by the <id> time stamping the excercise as time of export rather than excercise time.

Weekly summaries has also been lost somewhere.

Ai jai jai.

Well let me stop complaining before I get another rap on the fingers ;) :P

Just open the file with notepad and change the ID. Save and close.

But yes, it is a pain i know. the ID actually stamps the time away when you sync your watch to flow. So all excersizes being synced for the first time carries the same ID.

Yip I know, but I have been away since 12 December do you know what an absolute pain it is editing almost 30 files ... aaargh.

Anyways lets hope they EVENTUALLY sort it out.

Where do u export the gps (?) files to?

I know there is a clever app or something that some clever dude created that solves the polar gps time stamp problem, saw it on the polar forum

Swiss and Izak,

Do you use the only the watch with GPS tracking or do you have a speed sensor or running footpod?

I'm looking at maybe getting them but I do not want them if they are going to reduce the battery life.
