The "grubb screw" on the top of the shock where the remote lockout cable gets fastened has stripped the plastic where it turns into and now I have a problem getting the part replaced, what am I to do to get my bike sorted out to get cycling again. Do I need to replace the whole lockout or where can I get piece of plastic where the cable goes through and get fastened with the "grubb screw"?

Thank you Eugene, I'll try to get hold of them tomorrow or I'll have the lbs whom I bought the Merida from contact them seeing the bike is with them at the moment for its first service.

I'm a happy chappy, my lbs got hold of the part I need for the shock so my ride will be ready before the weekend.

I don't know what's the problem but I see that the date on this is still the 16th although it actually is the 21st already:unsure:

This is the part I've been waiting for almost 2 weeks. And worst of all, it's all plastic to keep weight down:rolleyes:

Coming to think of it, if I want to take the remote lockout off, could I replace it with one of those swivel thingies for the lockout on the fork?
