JI Fourie Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Hi fellow Hubbers I am looking at buying a new Anthem frame, I can get a new one for R9350, can I get any other full suspension in this price range? Does any one have feedback on the Anthem frame? Thanks in advance
dee_biker Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 I did the same move about 2 years ago, bought the frame and built my bike over. IMHO is this the best frame for that price range you will find, nothing comes even close. And the suspension works very well! Just check, you will probably need converters to switch to the Giant Overdrive 2 sizing, but all the LBSs should have them. I now have the Advanced, but the specs are the same, only difference being the carbon model.

I would love to get the advance but don't know the price yet and I don't know when it will be available, and the 2013 models that are available doesn't have my size.

Lets put it this way. If I had to buy the frame again, I would buy the Alimunium one. Carbon not worth the extra $$$. I bought the bike complete.
SeaBee Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Went through this exercise end of last year. You won't be sorry, it is a kick-azz frame. The Maestrro suspension is awesome. Oh - and the Advanced price at that stage was... basically double. (Plus they did not have any stock of my size, should I have been that way inclined.) Don't know what you're coming from, but also note that you'll very likely have to fit a new chain due to the length of the chainstay. I also had to change my crankset due to incompatibility. dee_biker 1
