Alu 29er MTB carbon seat post ?

Hi clever guys. I wish to fit a carbon seat post on my alu frame, any do's / don'ts I should be aware of ? Thx, coi

Just be sure to use carbon paste or another appropriate grease/lubricant (hubbers can help out here), to prevent the carbon bonding to the aluminium. I have personally had this issue before and it can be a nightmare to fix. Maybe have a Google around alu and carbon seatposts, I'm sure there will be enough appropriate information there.

Carbon paste. Otherwise you won't get it out.

Thanks. I also tried Google, searches suggest carbon / alu can also bond much like alu / cromoly of years gone by.
