Peter Winnen/CAPRISONNE-KOGA miyata conquered the mountain stage(Morzine - L‘Alpe d’Huez) of Tour de France in 1981. Based on the frame which supported his triumph, Miyata has succeeded to take it to a higher level with the home made SSTB(spiral sprine triple butted). The feeling of the unity of rider and horse will assure supreme bliss. Birth after three decades of sophistication. It's not just a nostalgia. The Miyata is a true road bike that works perfectly in modern age.

Elevation Extreme's frame has been designed with the full use of Miyata's home made tube technology. NIOBIUM and advanced structural mechanics made SSTB (Spiral Spline Triple Butted) possible which offers high stiffness and ultra-lightness at the same time. This newly developed SSTB NIOBIUM tube is given a rib spiral reinforced inside, lightweight, compared with a typical chromoly tubes stiffness per weight ratio has improved in over 30%. Maintains tenacity without losing rigidness. The unique whip that occurs when pedaling keeps the loss in minimum level, offers a spring effect which leads to efficient action. Also features excellent shock absorption which reduce rider's fatigue and offers excellent control stability. All of these factors will be an overwhelming advantage at hill climb stage. New Dura-Ace version has joined our lineup.
